Cancellation Policy

As a sole practitioner and business owner, last minute changes to my schedule are difficult to accommodate and limit my capacity to effectively coordinate my calendar in order to serve the greatest number of people. Late cancellations and no-shows leave holes in my schedule that could have been filled by another patient. Sudden openings are often difficult to fill, as most of my patients lead busy lives and plan weeks in advance to make time for their treatments. My business is also my livelihood. Last minute changes to my calendar greatly impact my ability to care for myself and to meet my own needs.

For these reasons, I require 48 hours notice for all cancellations and appointment changes. I understand that unforeseen circumstances sometimes arise and I will always take this into consideration. By enforcing the policy with minimal exceptions, you can be certain it is not personal when a fee is charged.

If you fail to cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged the full cost of your appointment. Please note that this fee is your responsibility and cannot be billed to your insurance.
