Curious & Curiouser Podcast, Episode 41: Fear, Intuition, & Getting Outside Your Comfort Zone

Think it’s too late to set intentions for 2018? It’s not! Every day is a good day for intention-setting, folks!

In this episode, Tracey and I are following up on the conversation we had on our last episode of 2017, and talking in more detail about the kinds of intentions we’re both setting for this coming year. We also talk about the processes we’ve gone through to arrive where we’ve arrived, and the things we’ve found helpful along the way.

How do you set yourself up for success with intention-setting? How far is too far to push yourself outside your comfort zone?

These are the questions Tracey and I are tackling this week. We also discuss the difference between intuition and fear and what to do before you set intentions.

So, if you’re still reflecting on 2017 and making some plans for the coming months, you are not alone! Tracey and I are still very much working on these things ourselves. And we hope this conversation provides some useful insights on how to set intentions from a place of self-compassion in order to set yourself up for success going forward.

Piquing Our Curiosity:

Piperwai, a natural deodorant free of parabens, aluminum, synthetic fragrances, & other harmful ingredients. As you probably know by now, I am passionate about safe personal care, skin care, and beauty products. After trying a variety of natural deodorants, I discovered Piperwai and fell in love. Other brands I’ve tried either didn’t work or were too harsh on my relatively sensitive skin due to a high concentration of baking soda. Piperwai is effective and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It also has a nice smell that isn’t too flowery and is great for both men and women. Check them out here. Let me know what you think!
